Ameraucanas are pretty and slightly flighty.  Chicken Little was probably an ameraucana.  While they do settle down some as they get older, young birds tend to be more nervous than other breeds.

On the plus side, they are good looking birds that lay gorgeous blue eggs in a variety of shades.  The beards and muffs on their faces are adorable and they tend to be nice round birds.  The roosters are good natured and great caretakers of their flock.
